The 8-speed Shimano gear system works perfectly, and I swapped out the old gear cable for a new one — that’s a big saving on a new model that’s well over £500.It’s been used a few times, not a daily rider, but still in great shape. All the alloy parts mean it won’t rust and feels smooth when you’re out on the road.
