So I’ve been using this ice cream mix for years — it’s basically the go-to for me when I’m training or just want a quick protein boost without any sugar or fat. The orange flavour is decent, not super sweet, and it dissolves really well in water. It’s got 25g of whey isolate per serving, with BCAAs and L-leucine, which is good for recovery. I’ve been mixing it with water before workouts and it feels like it absorbs fast — kind of like a liquid protein shake. It’s gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly, so no issues there. The calories are low too — under 116 per serving, which I appreciate when I’m trying to keep things tight. I’ve seen it win awards before, like the isolate of the year from 2013 to 2017, and it’s been pretty reliable. I just picked it up a few weeks ago when I was moving house — it’s now in my old-colwyn, Conwy storage. I don’t use it often, so it’s just sitting there. It’s not broken, just not used much.
