2019 Mercedes Benz CLA 180 AMG Line Auto – Front and Side Damage, Repairable, Cat-S Salvage

So, I’ve got this 2019 Mercedes CLA 180 AMG Line, 19 reg, with front and side damage. It’s been through an insurance claim and is currently in the salvage category – repairable, but not road-ready yet.

I know it’s not a perfect fit for everyone, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend driving it out of the yard without a proper inspection. The damage is visible, and I’ve included some photos, but nothing beats seeing it in person.

If you’re looking at it more as a project or something to work on, it’s a solid base – decent build quality, and the AMG styling is pretty cool. It’s been stored since the claim, so no major issues with the interior or bodywork, but I’d say it’s definitely not ready for daily use.

Delivery’s possible anywhere in the UK, though it’ll add a bit to the cost.

I’ve had a few people ask about the HPI – yeah, it might show clear at one point, but that can change. All vehicles go on HPI eventually, so I’d advise checking that yourself. Also, if it has a MOT, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive – it could have been damaged after the test. A full repair and a new MOT would be needed before it’s road legal.
