I’m selling my 2024 MG HS Trophy estate – it’s been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever driven. Still got the original 60-month warranty and I’ve kept it well maintained with full service records from the dealer. Only ever been owned by one person, so it’s been treated with care.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine is smooth and responsive, getting from 0 to 60 in about 9.6 seconds – not too flashy, but plenty of punch for everyday use. It’s Euro 6 compliant, so it’s efficient without compromising on drive.

Inside, it’s got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which means I can keep my phone connected without fiddling with a lot of buttons. The dual-zone auto air conditioning lets me set different temps for front and back – useful when one person likes it cold and the other warm. Rear parking sensors help a lot when parking in tight spaces, especially in places like Leslie, Fife where streets can get tight.

Safety-wise, it has Blind Spot Detection (BLIS), which helps keep an eye on what’s behind me when I’m changing lanes. There’s also ESP, safety belt pretensioners, and air conditioning – nothing fancy, but all solid.

It’s not flashy, but it’s actually pretty comfortable and dependable. I’ve used it for work and weekend trips, and it’s held up well. I’m not sure if it’ll be right for everyone, but if you’re looking for a practical, feature-packed estate that doesn’t go over the top, this one might fit.

Price is £16,200 – I’ve kept it in good shape and it’s been in Leslie, Fife for a few years now.
