2017 Volvo V40 D4 R Design Nav Plus 5dr Hatchback

Description

Got this 2017 Volvo V40 D4 R Design Nav Plus just over a year ago, and I’ve been really happy with how it’s held up. Only two owners before me, and it’s clocked up just 56,847 miles — not a lot for a diesel hatchback, especially one with this trim.

The 2.0-litre diesel engine is smooth and efficient, and it actually hits 60mph in around 6.8 seconds, which feels surprisingly quick for a family-friendly hatch. The R Design styling gives it a sharp, modern look, and the dark tinted rear windows add a bit of privacy without looking too flashy.

I love the heated seats — really helps in the colder months, and the winter pack makes it feel more comfortable year-round. The boot’s big enough for a couple of weekend trips or a couple of kids’ bikes.

It’s been properly looked after, and I’ve kept it well-maintained. Currently based in Newmilns, East Ayrshire, and I’m looking to part ways after a few years of using it for daily commuting and weekend drives.

It’s worth noting it’s on the market at £10,195.20 — not a huge price for a low-mileage, well-maintained diesel with such a practical layout.
