I’ve got this solid teak king size sleigh bed — it’s one of those pieces that just feels really substantial, like it’s been built to last. Outside dimensions are 169 x 226cm, inside is 155 x 204cm, headboard’s 96cm high and footboard’s 77cm. The carving is subtle but there, and the wood is fully solid — no plywood, no glue, just real teak. It’s been in the family for years and has a bit of character, like it’s seen some life, but nothing that would bother you. I’m moving out of inverkeithing, Fife, and it’s just sitting in my old bedroom, not being used. Photos are attached — you can see the details and the overall shape. It’s a rare one, and I’m not sure how many of these are still around. If you’re looking for something that feels genuinely solid and timeless, this might be it. I’ve had it checked and it’s in good shape, just a bit worn in places that don’t really affect how it looks or functions.
