BMW DIAGNOSTIC & CODING TOOL
Description
Got this BMW diagnostic and coding tool from a previous job — it's the kind of thing you’d use at a dealer level, so it can do all the heavy lifting. I’ve used it for things like EPS vertical aim, DPF change, alarm settings, and all sorts of fancy tricks — like activating the panic alarm, holding the boot button pressed, or making the interior lights stay on when you press the lock button. It’s good for things like turning off flickering lights, setting up dipped beam voltage, disabling the AC on auto, and even letting you turn off rear lights or disable fog light voltage. I’ve also done things like set the welcome lights, reset airbags, service history, and rear LCI coding.
Can also reset DPF regeneration, manage service records, and adjust the folding mirrors (works with electric mirrors with memory). The tool lets you diagnose, erase codes, and do things like set up the door lock chime — that little beep when you lock or unlock.
It’s been used a lot over the years, but still runs fine. I’m moving to Gourock, Inverclyde, so it’s going out of my hands. It’s been sitting in a garage for a while now — not much use to me anymore, but it’s still in working order.
Price is £27 — not much, really, just something I’m getting rid of. If you're into BMWs and tinkering, it might come in handy.
