So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s been a solid daily driver, and I’ve actually got a real feel for how it handles. It’s a 2019 Volvo V40 D3 R Design, 4-cylinder diesel, manual, 5-door hatchback — pretty much everything you’d want in a practical, stylish little hatch.

The engine’s a 2.0L Euro 6 diesel, which gets you to 60mph in about 8.1 seconds — not a rocket, but it’s definitely responsive. I’ve never had any issues with it, and it’s been well-maintained. Inside, it’s clean and comfortable — leather steering wheel with that R-Design logo, which I like, and the seats are roomy, especially with the fold-down front passenger seat.

I’ve got a full AA inspection report — it’s been checked properly, 128-point check, road tested, no red flags. That means I know it’s been properly looked at and isn’t hiding any issues. I’m not selling it because I need cash — I just want to get it out of the garage and into someone’s hands who actually uses it.

It’s got all the smart bits: adaptive cruise, parking sensors, Bluetooth, climate control, anti-lock brakes, and a decent safety suite — including side airbags and electronic stability control. The alloy wheels are matt black, and the windows are dark tinted, which helps keep the interior cooler.

I’ve been driving it for a few years, and it’s held up well. I’d say it’s in great shape overall, and I’ve not seen any major wear. The price is £9,445.50 — I’ve been thinking it’s a fair bit for what it is, especially with all the features and the AA inspection.
