I’ve had this Philips FW-P750/22 Mini HiFi for years – it’s one of those rare old-school systems I’ve kept around just because it sounds so good. I’ve only used it twice, and honestly, it still works perfectly. The sound is rich and full, especially with the 3-disc CD changer – it plays CD, CD-R, and CD-RW just fine.

It’s got two cassette decks with auto replay and dubbing, plus the ability to sync with the CD player. I love how it handles different genres thanks to the sound presets, and there’s even a virtual ambience mode and dynamic bass boost. The speaker setup is solid – two front 2-way speakers, a center speaker with magnetic shielding, and two surround speakers for Dolby Pro-Logic.

It comes with the original remote (37 keys), both FM/AM antennae, speaker cables, and all the connectors. The power cable is still in good shape too. Everything’s been tested and works as it should.

I bought it back in the day when I was building a home music setup, and I’ve never really needed to replace it. It’s not flashy, but it’s a real piece of audio history. I’ve kept it in my banff, Aberdeenshire home for years and it’s always been a favourite.
