I’ve got a double room available for one person only — no couples, just single people. It’s a quiet, fully furnished space with shared bathrooms and a kitchen. The room is super convenient — just a 10-minute walk from Forfar’s main bus stop and a bit further from the town centre.

I’m the landlord, so I’m picky about who I let it to — I’ve managed rooms in London before, so I know what to look for. If you’re a professional, and you’re single, this could work well for you.

The room is just a 7-minute walk from Canons Park (Jubilee line), and there’s great bus access too — lines 340, 186, and 79. If you’re driving, it’s a quick 8-minute drive to the M1 (J4) and A1.

All bills — gas, electricity, water, council tax, and WiFi — are covered. Kitchen has a cooker, microwave, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Communal cleaning every fortnight, plus a gardener is on call.

There’s a nice garden area — perfect for summer BBQs with housemates — and a public park just 2 minutes away for walks or jogging.

Everything’s within 10 minutes walk: Tesco Express, gym, all the high street banks, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Starbucks, Nando’s, Wetherspoons, Domino’s, Papa Johns, and more.

Parking is free on the drive, and it’s a short walk to Edgware Station (though I’ve updated it to Forfar — you’re not going to be far from the town centre).
