So, I’ve got this 2012 VW Golf Tech SE Cabriolet – it’s a 1.6 TDI with 100bhp, 5-speed manual, and the BlueMotion tech bits. It’s been properly looked after and runs really smoothly. Last MOT was done in August, so it’s still good to go. Insurance’s group 17, which means it’s not a stretch to run – I’ve averaged around 64mpg, so it’s pretty economical for a diesel.

Inside’s clean and tidy, the seats are heated, and the windows all work electrically. There’s power steering, ABS, parking sensors, electric mirrors, DAB radio, Bluetooth, on-board computer, heated rear screen, and dual climate control. The alloy wheels look nice too, and it’s got full service history – 11 service stamps, cam belt replaced, everything in order.

I’ve just had it serviced, so it’s fresh and ready to go. All paperwork’s in place, and the bodywork is solid – no major dents or rust. The roof works well, and it’s a bit of a joy to drive, especially on the road.
