2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2.0 TD4 SE Tech SUV 5dr Diesel Auto 4WD Euro 6 (180 ps)
Description
So, I’ve had this Range Rover Evoque for a couple of years now — not the flashy kind, but one that actually feels like it knows what you’re doing behind the wheel. It’s a 2016 TD4 diesel, 5-door, 4WD, and it’s got that solid, quiet, reliable vibe you get from a well-maintained older model. The seats are 12-way electric — I’ve got them adjusted just how I like it, whether I’m driving to work or taking a weekend off in Suffolk. The tech side is solid too: 8-inch touchscreen, DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB, and even a little ambient lighting that makes the cabin feel more alive. The headlight setup is smart — automatic high beams, xenon lights with leveling, and even a power wash. I’ve never had a night where I felt like I was driving into the dark without proper lighting.
I’ve used it for everything — city drives, country roads, even a few off-road days in the countryside. The 18-inch Sparkle Silver alloy wheels look sharp, and the body-coloured trim gives it that clean, modern feel. The parking aids are a real life-saver — I’ve parked in tight spots and never had to worry about scraping.
Safety-wise, it’s got ABS, EBD, TCS, ESP, EBA, and even a lane departure warning with emergency braking. The seat belts have pretensioners too — you’d be surprised how much that matters when you’re in a sudden stop.
The engine’s a 2.0L diesel with 178bhp — not loud, not flashy, but smooth and efficient. I’ve averaged around 55mpg, which is actually pretty good for a diesel SUV. It’s not the fastest car, but it gets the job done without burning through fuel.
I’ve had it through a full HPI check, and it’s been well looked after. I’m not selling it because I’m moving — I just need a bit of space in the garage and don’t want to be tied up with a car I won’t use much.
I’m based in Suffolk, England, so if you’re local or passing through, feel free to get in touch. I’m Jamie — I’ve been in the car trade since the early 90s, mostly working with 4x4s. I’ve dealt with Land Rovers, BMWs, Audis, and a few Jeeps over the years.
If you’re thinking about getting a used SUV with solid tech, good safety, and a bit of that Range Rover presence — this one’s been sitting in my driveway for a while, and I think it’s ready to go.
Price is £10,795.50 — not a lot, especially for a car with this mix of features and reliability.
If you’d like to see it in person, or just chat about it, I’m happy to talk. Phone’s 01707 878920. No pressure — just a solid, honest conversation about a car I’ve actually used.
And yeah, I know it’s not brand new, but it’s been well maintained and has a solid history. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t scream “new” but still feels like it’s doing its job — this one’s for you.
