Description

So, I’ve been keeping this one for a few years now — it’s a 2018 VW Caddy Maxi Life 2.0 TDi, converted from new by Allied Vehicles and offers. It’s got a solid service history and I’m happy with how it’s been looked after.

It’s got 17,159 miles on the clock, and I’ve kept it well maintained — last service was a full timing belt and water pump replacement in 2022, done at VW Dartford. Since then, it’s had regular checks, including a multi-point pre-delivery inspection by Michael Harraway Cars in June 2025. The MOT is due July 2026, so it’s all in order.

The wheelchair access is good — it’s a lowered rear floor section, and there’s a lightweight bi-fold ramp. The ramp is 75cm wide and 130cm long (up to the winch), with an entry height of 142cm. I’ve used it with a scooter and a wheelchair, and it works smoothly. There’s also an electric winch, which is handy if you ever need to pull something out.

Inside, it’s comfortable — alloy wheels, air conditioning, Bluetooth, radio/CD player, cruise control with speed limiter, and all the safety stuff: ABS brakes, power steering, airbags, front and side airbags, heated windscreen, parking sensors, remote central locking, electric windows, and adjustable mirrors. The seats are height-adjustable, and the steering wheel is flat-bottomed, which I find easier to use.

I’ve kept it clean and well-maintained, and it’s been serviced every few thousand miles. It’s not just a car — it’s been a real part of my life, especially since I’ve been using it for mobility.

I’m based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham now, so if you’re local or nearby, I’m happy to chat or even arrange a home demo if it works. I’ve had a few people ask about it, and most of the ones I’ve seen are ex-Motability vehicles — one owner, low mileage, and full service history, which is reassuring.

I’m not selling it to anyone who just wants to buy a car — it’s more about practicality, reliability, and getting the right fit. If you’re thinking about a wheelchair-accessible vehicle and want something that’s actually been used responsibly, this one’s been through the wringer and still holds up.

Price is £14,395.50 — that’s not something I’m going to advertise, but if you’re interested, I’m happy to talk. No pressure, just honest, real talk.

If you’d like to know more or see it in person, just give me a shout — I’ll get back to you when I can.

(And yeah, part exchange is welcome — I’m open to it if it makes sense.)
