Description

I’ve got this Raleigh Motus e-bike, powered by a Bosch motor, and it’s been in my grandma’s attic for years. She used to keep it indoors, so it’s never been out in the elements — that’s probably why it’s in such good shape. The battery’s included (400Wh) and comes with the 4-amp charger, which takes about 3 hours to fully charge. I’ve only put around 405 miles on it so far, but I think it might go up a bit with more riding.

It’s got Sram gears and a derailier, Shimano hubs, and hydraulic rim brakes — feels solid and reliable. The Bosch Active Line motor gives you a nice boost, and with full power assist (turbo mode), it’ll get you about 30 miles. On lower settings, it’s way more range. The suspension can be locked down, and there’s an integrated wheel lock on the frame, which is handy if you’re parking it in a tight spot.

I’m not planning to ride it much — more of a “keep it in the garage and use it when I need a bit of a lift” kind of thing. It’s been a real pleasure to have around, especially on the hills around the Isle of Harris. The Western Isles have some lovely riding, and this thing handles it well.

I’ve got it for £720, but I’m not pushing it — it’s just something I’ve been holding onto for a while now. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to chat.
