Description

So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2017 Golf 1.4 TSI SE Nav Estate, five doors, petrol, DSG, Euro 6 compliant. Only two owners, full VW service history — six services done properly, all kept up to date.

It’s got everything you’d expect: Discover Touchscreen Nav, front and rear parking sensors, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels (Linas finish), adaptive cruise with speed limiter, DAB/CD stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth with USB/AUX, power folding mirrors, aircon, multi-function steering wheel, auto lights, electric windows, and a photochromic mirror.

Inside it’s deep black, with all the little extras — cup holders, front and rear carpet mats, a 230V socket in the boot, a 12V socket in the luggage compartment, and even a storage cover in the centre console. There’s also a load-through provision, roof rails, and ISOFIX for kids’ seats.

I’ve had it checked out properly — HPI clear, 7 months MOT, and it’s been through a full 128-point AA inspection. There’s a £99 AA inspection fee to cover, which I’m happy to split with whoever looks at it.

The car’s been safety-checked with the DVSA, and it’s all been tested in our workshop. We’ve had it road-tested, and it’s been kept in good shape with all the usual bits and pieces working.

I’ve actually been driving it a fair bit — it’s reliable, not flashy, but gets the job done. The ride’s smooth, the tech’s handy, and it’s definitely ULEZ compliant.

I’m based in Broxburn, West Lothian, so if you’re in the area, I’m happy to arrange a view or even just a quick chat. No pressure — I’m just looking to get it out of my garage and into someone’s hands who’ll take good care of it.

If you're thinking about buying a used car and you want something solid, well-maintained, with a full service history and actual safety checks — this one’s got you covered.

I’ve had it with a solid warranty — minimum three months with RAC cover, plus breakdown help if anything goes wrong. If you’re worried about the long-term, I can also point you to some extended RAC warranty options.

No fancy marketing — just a real car, well looked after, and I’m happy to talk through it. Let me know if you’re interested.
