I’m selling my 2016 Golf R – the one I’ve driven every weekend for years. It’s a proper sports hatch, not flashy but packed with features you’d actually use. The Alcantara seats are nice, the sound system is decent (Dynaudio, if you’re into that), and those 19-inch alloys look sharp in the sun.

I’ve had it serviced four times since I bought it, last one in April 2025 at 59,768 miles – nothing major, just regular upkeep. It’s got adaptive cruise, sat-nav, dual-zone climate control, LED daytime running lights, and front and rear parking sensors. Bluetooth works fine too – I use it to play music while I’m on my way to the gym or the countryside.

It’s been through a full 204-point check, MOT until May 2026, and I’ve kept it well-maintained. The car is in great shape, not flashy, just solid. I’ve only driven it a few miles a week, mostly on the road or around the hills near Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire.

I’m not selling it for a big price – it’s £12,698.10 – but it’s been a real joy to drive, especially on twisty roads. I’ve kept it clean and maintained, and it’s been reliable through all seasons.
