So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — a 2020 BMW 2 Series 218i SE estate with the manual gearbox. It’s a solid, well-maintained one, not flashy but definitely capable. I’ve driven it mostly on the roads around St-Osyth, Tendring, and it’s been reliable, even with the occasional long weekend trip.

The tech side is pretty good — Apple CarPlay, DAB radio, all that driver assist stuff like lane departure warning, speed limiters, and front collision warning with brake intervention. Also got a nice eco mode, cruise control with brake assist, and parking sensors. The seats are comfy, and there’s a split fold rear bench — useful for family trips or when you’re just not going to need the full space.

Inside, it’s clean and well-kept — leather steering wheel, anthracite floor mats, and all the little touches like welcome lighting, auto headlights, and rear window wiper with wash. I’ve used the heated windscreen jets a few times in the winter, and it’s actually nice. The mirrors have LED indicators too, and the door handles and bumpers are all body colour — looks pretty neat in real life.

I’ve kept it in good shape — regular servicing, no major issues, and the engine runs smoothly. The only thing I’d say is it’s a bit of a driver’s car — not super sporty, but you get what you pay for. It’s got a lot of features, and the price is £10,345.50 — not a lot of people will be asking for that, but it’s fair given the specs.
