Description

These are the Magped Ultra-2 magnetic titanium pedals I tried out a couple of times on my bike, but ended up going back to my old pair. Honestly, I didn’t really get into them — the setup felt a bit off for me, so I stuck with what I know works better. That said, they’ve seen almost no use, so they’re in great condition.

They come with everything: all the fittings, the pair weighs just 324g, and I’ve kept the spare cleat bolts — two sets, 10mm and 12mm — though I used the ones from my old cleats to try them out. There’s also a spare magnet bolt and socket, two metal plates with different spacers, and the original Alen keys. The box is still intact too.

These are the ultralight single-magnet models, so you don’t connect the shoe to one side — that’s a key point if you’re thinking of using them. I didn’t love how they worked for me, but many people find the release action really smooth and easy. If you’re into lightweight pedals and a simple, reliable release, they might be worth a try.

I’ve kept them in a box in Lingfield, Tandridge — just popped them in a cupboard for now, and I’m happy to share them if anyone’s interested. Price is £90, but I’m not putting it in the title like that. Just thought I’d share them in case someone finds them useful.
