Got this Volvo XC40 Plus from the main dealer in Dover, Kent — it’s a 2024 B3 mild hybrid with petrol power, and it’s got that dark estate body style with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. I’ve been driving it for a few months now and it’s been really smooth, especially on the highway.

The interior’s got a 12.3-inch driver display and a 9-inch centre screen — both are crisp and easy to use. I love the charcoal headlining and the soft connect suede seats, which feel great even on long drives. The seats are adjustable, and the driver’s seat has memory settings — handy if you’re commuting.

It’s got a lot of smart features: Apple CarPlay, Google Assistant, DAB+, Google Maps and Play Store for four years, cruise control, adaptive steering, lane keep assist, and all that safety stuff like BLIS, cross traffic alert, and rear collision warning. There’s also a rear seat with a foldable armrest and a cargo divider, plus a load floor that’s easy to clean.

The cabin is clean and quiet — heated seats, steering wheel, and windscreen, plus a climate control system that keeps things comfortable in all kinds of weather. The side windows are tempered, and the door handles are body-coloured with ground lighting. I’ve also got the air purifier and remote cabin pre-clean — useful when the air’s not great.

I’m not a fan of the alcohol lock software (it’s not available in the UK), but everything else feels premium and well-built. The wheels are 19-inch matt graphite diamond cut — looks sharp and doesn’t get too flashy.

It’s got a lot of safety features: dual-stage airbags, side impact protection, hill start assist, hill descent control, and even a panic brake light. There’s also a first-aid kit and a protective net in the boot.

I bought it through a Volvo-approved dealer in Dover, Kent — they’re part of Waylands, a family-run group that’s been named AM Dealer Group of the Year for six years running (2019–2024). They’ve got a solid reputation for service and value.

I’m not selling it because I’ve found a different car I like better — I’m just letting it go. It’s been a solid driver and I’ve used it for everything from city trips to weekend getaways. The price is £29,493.90 — it’s not cheap, but for what it offers, it’s worth it.
