We’re downgrading our tent setup now that we’ve moved to the Shetland Islands and found our new home is a bit more compact. The Hi Gear Vanguard 8 was a solid choice for our last family holiday, but it’s a bit on the big side for regular use now. We actually just bought a brand new one for Christmas — same model, with the front porch — for £700. That one’s the one we’re using now. This one only went out once this summer, so it’s in great shape. Might be a good fit if you’re looking for something sturdy but not overkill. We’re keeping it in the Shetland Islands, Scotland, so it’s not far if you’re local.Seller Information
