I’ve had this VCDS 25.3. 1 VAG COM HEX V2 diagnostic cable for a few years now, and it’s been super handy for doing all sorts of car checks. It comes with the latest software, so you can read and clear fault codes from everything — engine, airbags, ABS, instruments, parking sensors, you name it.

You can see live data from sensors, reset service lights (both fixed and variable), check stored and intermittent faults, log data over time, and even do a one-click scan of all systems. It’s also good for basic settings, soft coding, and things like activating the electronic park brake so you can change brake pads without having to go through the full process.

I’ve used it for everything from simple checks to more in-depth diagnostics, and it’s pretty reliable. It also supports output tests and component actuation — useful if you're working on something more hands-on.
