Vauxhall Zafira 2012 Exclusiv 5-Door 3-Seat Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
Description
I’ve got this 2012 Vauxhall Zafira Exclusiv, five-door, three-seat version with wheelchair access, and it’s been a real help for my family. It’s a two-owner car with only 48,291 miles on the clock — still feels like it’s been mostly kept in good shape. The body’s in dark waterworld pearlescent grey, and it’s been properly adapted by Gowrings Mobility, a well-known firm. The wheelchair setup is solid: lowered floor for easier access, a one-piece non-slip ramp with a handle, and a low-floor wheelchair position with four-point anchoring. There are two front electric inertia belts with tongue and buckle attachments, and rear floor anchors using the ‘Qstraint slide-n-click’ system. There’s also a rear internal light and an emergency tyre inflation kit — no spare wheel, but that’s been covered.
It’s got all the standard bits too: 12V power socket, ABS brakes, aircon, driver and front passenger airbags, and side airbags for the front seats. It’s been certified by the manufacturer to meet all wheelchair accessibility standards.
It’s currently in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, and I’m looking to part with it — the price is £3,150, but I’ll be honest, it’s been a real workhorse for me and my sister who uses a wheelchair. If you’ve got a similar need or just like the practicality of this kind of vehicle, I’d be happy to chat.
