My 2009 Audi A6 5.0 RS 6 Quattro – it’s been sitting in westcliff-on-sea, Leigh on Sea for a few years now, mostly just getting the occasional drive and keeping it in good shape. I bought it back in 2013, and it’s been a solid companion ever since.

Only 43,285 miles on the clock, and it’s still got that sharp, confident drive you expect from an RS. The black exterior looks sharp and timeless – not flashy, just clean and authoritative. The 5.0-litre engine is still punchy, and with Quattro 4WD, it handles corners and wet roads with a calm, sure grip. I’ve driven it through the coast roads and even some tricky bits of country road – it’s been reliable and quiet, not loud or fussy.

Inside, it’s all premium stuff – leather seats, clean dash, and the old-school Audi tech that still works well. The infotainment system isn’t flashy, but it’s got what you need. I keep the ESP and pretensioner safety features on at all times, and it’s a real comfort to know it’s got that safety built in.

It’s not flashy, not flashy in the sense of being loud or flashy – just a well-used, well-maintained car that’s done its job. I’ve kept it mostly in the UK, and it’s been a great driver for me. I’m not selling it for a big sum – it’s £29,695.50 – but it’s something I’ve kept for years, and I’m finally ready to let it go.
