Description

So, I’ve just got my hands on a brand new Renault Master 4.8m lo loader van – it’s the Luton model, 2.0 litre diesel, 150bhp, and it’s built on the 75 Reg platform (Renault Red Truck division).

It’s fully equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, a DAB radio with Bluetooth and USB, and a PF6 gearbox with a stop-start system. The body’s made by Worster Bodycraft – which is a solid name in the industry.

Dimensions: bed is 4826mm long, internal width 2080mm, internal height 2600mm from floor to roof. Comes with barn doors and a rear step. The chassis has a subframe with side cills, and the rear has an aluminium extension for extra strength.

The cab has a Luton pod with side wings, a plywood floor above the roof, and a 12mm birch front bulkhead with a phenol kick panel. Side panels are 14mm honeycomb, roof has aluminium cant rails and a GRP skin, and the rear frame is all aluminium with lockable flush doors. Floor is 22mm black honeycomb – tough and light.

All lights are compliant with build regulations, including an interior PIR light. There are 4 rows of timber tie rails for load security. Rear access step is included.

It’s type approved and comes with full documentation. The full price is £42,995 plus VAT, RFL, and first registration – so it’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, well-built van.
