So, I’ve got this 2014 Dacia Sandero Stepway – it’s a diesel, 1.5 dCi, 90ps, manual gearbox, Euro 5 – and it’s actually one of the nicer ones I’ve seen. Came straight from the factory, only one owner, and has just under 76,000 miles on it. Full service history, new MOT, and I’ve kept it well looked after.

It’s in great shape – no major issues, no faults, just feels solid. The interior’s clean and tidy, the seats are comfy, and it’s got all the basics: sat nav, Bluetooth, alloy wheels, 16-inch steel wheels in that Stepway design, and the 7-inch touchscreen media system. You can even plug in a phone via USB or AUX.

It’s got a lot of safety stuff too – ABS, ASR, EBA, ESC, airbags front and side, child locks, ISOFIX points, and even a tyre pressure monitor. The windows are electric, steering is power-assisted, and there’s cruise control, DRLs, heated door mirrors, and a trip computer. The seats are split 60-40 for the back, and there’s a handy luggage light.

I’ve had it checked over properly, and it’s been tax-free at £20 a year. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical – great for daily use or family trips.
