Description

I’ve had this 2005 Nissan Micra for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver for most of that time, and honestly, it’s one of the most reliable little cars I’ve ever owned. It’s a 1.2-litre 16v, manual, three-door hatchback with only 18,904 miles on it, and it’s got that classic gold paint which just looks great in the sun.

It’s not flashy, but it’s practical — great for city driving, easy to park, and doesn’t eat through the fuel like some other cars do. The 79bhp engine gives you enough punch for normal driving, and with a fuel economy of around 47.9 mpg, it’s been a real saving on petrol over the years. I’ve never had to worry about the ULEZ either — it’s fully compliant, so no issues in London or anywhere else with those rules.

The interior’s got the Urban (Sand) trim with a Caffe Latte finish — I think it adds a nice warm, modern touch. The seats are comfortable, and it holds five people comfortably. It’s not a grand car, but it gets the job done — whether I’m commuting or taking a weekend trip.

It’s been three owners since new, and I’ve had it through a few different jobs and moves, so I know it’s been well looked after. It’s had a full MOT recently, which is a real peace of mind.

I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s just a solid, no-nonsense car that’s worked well for me. The processing fee is £82.50 plus VAT (£99 total), which covers a proper inspection, detailing, and all the paperwork needed to get it ready. That’s not included in the price, but it’s worth it to make sure everything’s in order.

I’m based in Aylesford, Tonbridge and Malling, so if you’re local and want to see it, I can arrange a view — just give me a call first. No rush, no pressure.

I’ve actually been thinking about selling it because I’m moving to a new area and I need something a bit more modern. It’s still running perfectly, and I’ve had it through a few different terrains — speed bumps, traffic jams, all of it. I’m just not sure I’ll need it anymore.

I’ve had a few cars over the years, and this one has been the most reliable one — I’d never have thought I’d be saying that about a small hatchback. If you’re looking for something solid, low-maintenance, and not too expensive to run, this might just be the one.

If you’ve got any questions or just want to chat about it, I’m happy to talk. No sales pitch — just real talk.
