The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic — pretty peaceful. The room has a window that opens to the back courtyard, so it’s a bit of a breath of fresh air. It’s fully furnished, and all bills — gas, electricity, water, internet, and TV licence — are covered.

The other residents are all female students aged between 20 and 23, and they’re happy to welcome either a male or female student. No pets, sorry — and it’s not really for families or kids.

There are two bathrooms: two showers, two WCs, and one bath. The tenancy is minimum 10 months, and it can go out into July and August if you want. Parking is available through the council at £45 per year, which lets you park outside the house or anywhere in Zone J.

I’ve had a few students look at it already, and it’s been a solid fit so far. No agent fees, no hidden charges — just a straightforward room.
