Description

I’m parting with this aquarium I’ve had for years — it’s a solid, deep 80cm tall tank in a sleek black and gold cabinet. It was originally set up for discus, and I’ve kept it in great shape ever since. Only a few light scratches at the bottom, where the gravel used to be — no damage, just a bit of wear.

It’s got everything you’d need: water and air pumps (with two outlets), rainbow rocks, a big piece of wood for scraping, and two heaters — one 300W main, one 100W plus 50W backup. The sump has loads of pads, foam, and media, including lava rock and ceramic rings — and I’ve managed to keep it crystal clear for a long time.

Included are nets, a co2 manual kit, cleaning tools, and even an electric gravel cleaner. The original light is gone (it just stopped working), but I’ve got a full-spectrum or blue strip light that I use now — it’s what’s shown in the photos.

The tank is 37cm deep, 100cm wide, 80cm tall. The cabinet is 66cm tall, 100cm wide, 37cm deep — so the full setup is about 152cm tall (5 feet). It has taps for quick water and sump changes, which I’ve used a lot. The blue outlet column is still attached — it’s not easy to remove, so I’ve left it in place.

This tank is a bit heavy and bulky, and I’m not able to deliver it. It was originally £799 — a long time ago, and Oblong, the brand, isn’t made anymore in the UK. It’s been a live tank recently, so the bio media is all fresh and ready to go.

I’ve kept it in great condition and only just stopped using it — so it’s not just sitting idle. If you're serious about setting it up, it’s a solid, well-equipped tank with everything ready to go. No silly offers — just real, honest talk.
