HP 290 G1 SFF Desktop with i5-8500, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Windows 11 Pro and Monitor

So I’ve been using this HP 290 G1 desktop for a few years now, and after a bit of a tidy-up, I figured it was time to part with it. It’s a small form factor PC with an i5-8500 processor, 16GB of RAM (2x8), and a 1TB SSD — all of which I’ve had professionally tested and reinstalled. The Windows 11 Pro is up to date, and I’ve even got the Office apps running with a 1-year subscription included.

It’s not perfect — there are a couple of tiny cosmetic marks, like a small scratch on the side and a bit of scuff on the front panel — but the internals are solid, and everything works fine. I’ve also got a 22-inch Iiyama monitor, a wired keyboard, and a mouse, plus a USB 2.0 nano Wi-Fi adapter for wireless internet.

I’ve lived in Stornoway, Western Isles for a while now, so it’s been a real workhorse for home office tasks and light stuff like photo editing, streaming, and general browsing. Still runs smooth, even after years of use.

It’s sitting in a storage unit in Stornow0ay, Western Isles, and I’m happy to give it away for £134.10 — it’s been worth a lot more than that in terms of how much I’ve used it.
