Dell D620 Notebook with 2GB RAM and 120GB HDD
Description
I’ve had this Dell D620 for a few years now and just decided to part with it. It’s a solid little machine—14” to 15” screen, Intel T2400 at 1.83GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a 120GB hard drive. Runs Debian 12 Linux, which is nice if you’re into the command line or light stuff like file management or coding. It’s got a built-in GPU, so no need for a separate graphics card, and the screen is still clear enough for basic work. Comes with WiFi and a 10/100 LAN card—useful for home networks or old-school internet setups.
The keyboard and trackpad work okay, and it’s got a few ports: VGA, USB 2.0, serial, and a D-Port. I’ve got the Dell D-Port Docking Station (PR01X) too, which lets you plug it into a desk setup and get a full desktop experience—extra USBs, VGA, serial, parallel, audio, and a network port. Comes with a compatible charger and two batteries, both of which hold a charge.
It’s not flashy, doesn’t run modern software well, and I’ve mostly used it for light tasks—writing, browsing, some Linux work. But it’s reliable and still runs fine.
It’s sitting in my garage at stretton, Barton, so if you’re local and looking for something simple and dependable, I’d be happy to swap or give it a quick look. I’ve been using it for personal projects and it’s been pretty stress-free.
Priced at £63, so if you’re interested, just give me a shout.
