Children's Bicycle - Forme Curbar 3 Junior Mountain Bike

So I’ve got this little mountain bike from when my son was little – it’s the Forme Curbar 3 Junior, and honestly, it’s been through a few adventures but still looks pretty good. Only a few tiny scratches on the frame, which are just from the lock when it was stored – you can see them in the photos, but nothing major. Comes with the bottle holder still attached, which I’m sure will be useful for someone who likes to ride with snacks.

My son’s grown out of it now, so I’m passing it on. It’s perfect for kids around 5'0" to 5'4" (152–164cm), so if you’re looking for a bike that’s sturdy, a bit off-road friendly, and not too flashy – this one fits.

It’s 26" wheels, 13" frame, alloy 6061 with internal cables and a solid headset. The fork is SR Suntour XCE 28 with 80mm travel. Gears are Shimano SL-M315 (16-speed) front, Shimano Altus rear and front double, chainset is Prowheel 170mm with a 22–36T range, cassette is Shimano HG200 8-speed (11–32T), chain is KMC 8-speed. Bottom bracket is square taper with cartridge bearings. Brakes are Tektro hydraulic disc – decent stopping power.

The handlebars are Forme alloy, 640mm with 20mm rise, grips are Forme Lock On, stem is 60mm alloy, saddle is Forme Sport Comfort, seatpost is 2-bolt alloy. Wheels are Forme alloy, 32H double wall, 6-bolt QR hubs, tyres are Kenda Kadre 26x2.1". Total weight is about 13.6kg – not too heavy for a junior bike.

I’m based in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, and it’s just sitting in my garage, not used in a while. If you’re a parent or someone who’s got a kid who’s getting into biking, this could be a solid, reliable option. I’m not charging much – just £180 – but it’s not something I’d go through the hassle of selling if it wasn’t a real, usable bike.
