Honestly, I’m not selling this car lightly — it’s been a real joy to drive for years. It’s a 2007 Mini Clubman Estate, manual, 1598cc, five doors — the kind of car you’d actually want to go on weekend trips with, not just park it in the garage.

It’s been properly looked after — engine rebuild and new clutch done by the last owner, and we’ve since done brakes, new discs, four coil packs, injection system, and even replaced the ECU with a stage 1 re-map. All that work means it runs smooth and hasn’t missed a beat even after a few long trips over summer.

It’s still in regular use, so mileage will go up a bit — it’s not a show car, it’s a working one. I’ve been using it for the past few years, and it’s been reliable, quiet, and loads of fun.

I’ve got a 12-month MOT, so it’s safe and up to date. The only reason I’m letting it go is because I’ve had to move to a new place and the kids need a different car. I’ll be sad to see it go — it’s been part of our family for a while.
