2011 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16v SRi Hatchback
Description
I’m selling my 2011 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16v SRi hatchback — it’s a solid, everyday car with a bit of a sporty edge. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been reliable, easy to drive, and actually feels like it’s built for real-life use. It’s got a 1.6-litre petrol engine that’s smooth and quiet — not flashy, but enough to get you through city streets and motorways without fuss. The steering is responsive, the ride’s not too harsh, and it handles corners well without feeling twitchy.
Inside, it’s got leather seats (black), 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, and the VXR styling pack — which gives it a sharper look without being too aggressive. The seats are ergonomically shaped, and the heated front seats are a real plus in winter. I’ve used them a few times and it makes mornings way more bearable.
There’s a lot of tech and safety stuff too — cruise control, ESP, ABS, airbags, heated mirrors, and a CD player with aux input. The cabin is clean and practical, with storage and a decent amount of space for a hatchback. The 60-40 fold-down rear seat is useful if you ever need to carry a couple of kids or some gear.
It’s HPI clear, so no hidden issues, and I’ve had it checked properly. No admin fees, and it’s ULEZ compliant — so it’ll still work in London and other areas with the new rules.
I’m based in new-milton, New Forest, so I can arrange a quick view if you’re local. I’ve kept it well-maintained and don’t plan to use it much — it’s just one of those cars you’d actually want to drive every day.
I’ve been thinking about selling it because I’m switching to a slightly different kind of vehicle, and this one has served me well. If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat — whether you want to buy online, collect it locally, or just see it in person.
Price is £2,025 — not a lot, but it’s a solid car with a lot of useful features that actually matter. Just a straightforward, no-nonsense hatchback with a bit of character.
Let me know if you’d like to see it or talk through the details.
