I’ve been playing violin and fiddle for over 30 years, and have been teaching for 18 of those — mostly with kids and beginners, but also people who’ve been playing for a while. I did my master’s in music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and I’ve toured all over the world — from Australia to Canada, Sweden to Singapore — playing on stage in the UK and beyond. I’ve always loved teaching, and I really enjoy helping people get into music, whether they’re just starting out or want to take their skills further. I can cover basics, theory, scales, and even help with exams. I’m based in Hook, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, and I’m happy to chat if you’re interested.
