I’ve been driving this 2017 Jaguar F-Pace R-Sport for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels right. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid — the kind of SUV you can trust on the road whether you’re commuting or hitting the hills.

The 2.0-litre diesel engine pulls smoothly, gets up to 60 in just under 9 seconds, and I’ve noticed it’s quite economical — up to 53 mpg on the road. It’s got all-weather confidence with four-wheel drive, which means I’ve taken it on wet days and even some rough country roads without a worry.

The R-Sport bits are subtle but noticeable — the grey alloy wheels, the body kit, the bold front grille. The seats are heated, the climate control is split-zone, and the interior is clean and well put together. I love the navigation, the touchscreen, and the fact that it has a full Wi-Fi hotspot.
