Mid-Century G Plan Astro Solid Teak Coffee Table
Description
I’ve been keeping this piece in my home for years — it’s a real gem. It’s the G Plan Astro coffee table from the 1960s, designed by Victor Wilkins. Solid teak with a glass centre, and the grain is gorgeous — warm, golden, and really shows off the wood’s natural beauty. The curves are clean and timeless, and it’s been used a little, but not at all aggressively. Still looks like it’s been sitting in a living room, not a storage unit. It’s 83cm across and about 44cm tall — fits perfectly in most living areas. I’m not selling it just to clear space, I’m actually moving house and it’s time to give it a new home.
I run a small shop that focuses on vintage and mid-century furniture — we don’t do flashy stuff, we just restore things with care, using old-school methods so they keep their soul. This table has been cleaned and maintained properly, and it’s still got that original charm.
If you’d like to see it in person, I’m happy to arrange a viewing — just message me. I’m based in bishops-cleeve, Austrey CP, so it’s a quick trip if you’re nearby.
Delivery? I can do free delivery to anywhere within the North or South Circular in London. Outside of that, I’ll give you a fair quote — and in some cases, delivery might even be free depending on where you are.
It’s a solid piece, and I’m genuinely happy to part with it — it’s been a great part of my home for a while.
