2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class 2.1 A200d AMG Line Hatchback

This 2016 A-Class diesel hatchback has been a solid daily driver for me since I got it — I’ve just had it serviced and it’s running smoothly. It’s got that AMG styling with the 5-spoke alloy wheels in titanium grey, which I love — the finish is sharp and shiny, not dull. The interior is clean and tidy, with that classic Mercedes feel — leather gear shift, brushed steel pedals, and the centre console has a nice chrome trim.

I’ve kept it well maintained, so it has a full service history and a recent MOT — the warranty’s still valid for three months, which gives me peace of mind. It’s got all the safety stuff: ABS, ESP, brake assist, collision prevention, and even a smart feature that raises the bonnet slightly when it senses a pedestrian impact. There’s also a colour display, Bluetooth, and a radio with CD/MP3.

The seats are comfortable, the cup holders are handy, and I’ve got a first aid kit tucked away in the boot. The floor mats have AMG lettering, and the door handles and mirrors are all body-coloured with LED indicators. The heated rear window is a nice touch in the winter.

I live on the Isle of Mull, Argyll and Bute, and I’m not planning to move soon — so it’s just a matter of finding someone who’ll appreciate this solid, reliable car. It’s a bit of a long-term keeper, and I’m happy to take it off the road for a while if needed.
