1966 Lambretta Li 125 Special Unlisted Petrol Manual
Description
Got this 1966 Lambretta Li 125 Special sitting in my garage in Lynton, Lynton and Lynmouth — it’s one of those little gems that just feels right. Egg shell blue, clean lines, and it’s been properly restored, not just polished up.I’ve had it checked out properly and it’s still registered (though it was previously overseas registered). The engine’s been upgraded to 150cc (still legally a 125cc for registration), which means it runs smooth and has more oomph without losing the classic feel. I added a SIP digital speedo, white wall tyres, and a rear back rest with carrier — useful for short trips or carrying stuff.
It’s a real Italian machine, and I’ve kept it well cared for. The safety belt pretensioners are in place too.
I don’t usually do much with old scooters, but this one has always been a favourite — it’s got that charm and character that just doesn’t come from modern machines.
If you’re looking at it as a project, or just want to keep a piece of vintage motor history, I’d be happy to chat. I’m not selling it to anyone who’s not really into it — it’s not something I’d just throw away.
Home delivery’s available, and I can arrange a viewing by appointment. No drop-ins, no surprises — just a proper look-through when you’re ready.
I’ve got a few other classics on the shelf if you’re interested — feel free to check out my site.
P.S. It’s a solid £7,195.50 — that’s not the headline, but it’s what it’s worth. I’ve kept the price in check because I know it’s a rare model and still in good condition.
If you’re serious, just give me a call — I’ll make sure it’s still there when you come to see it.
