Description
I’ve had this 1980s pink Raleigh Silhouette for years and it’s been properly serviced – still runs smoothly with 10-speed Shimano gears. The frame’s big at 22.5”, so it’s comfortable for someone over 5ft 8in. I’ve fitted new brake cables, including those old stock white ribbed Raleigh outer ones – they’re a bit of a nostalgic touch, honestly. The chrome has a few tiny spots of pitting, mostly on the rims, but it’s still looking great for its age. Got a fresh sprung brown saddle, mudguards, and a stand – all the basics. It’s been my go-to for weekend trips to the coast or just riding around town. I’m based in Studley, Stratford-on-Avon now, so collection’s easy if you’re local.
