2022 Mercedes Benz CLA 180 AMG Line Executive Auto – Front and Side Damage, Starts, Salvage Repairable
Description
So, I’ve got this 2022 Mercedes CLA 180 AMG Line Executive – 72 reg – sitting in Stevenston, Warner Street. It’s a solid-looking car, but it’s been in a collision – front and side damage. Starts up and runs, which is good, but it’s definitely not road-ready right now. It’s a salvage vehicle, so it’s been through an insurance claim and is repairable.I’m not selling it as “perfect” or “drivable” – it’s exactly what it says. I’ve gone through the details, and I’ve seen the HPI stuff, and I know some of these vehicles show clear at times, but that might change once it’s officially recorded. That said, I’d really recommend you check it out in person. I’m not a mechanic, so I can’t vouch for the actual condition – no guarantees, no warranty, nothing.
If you’re thinking about buying it, bring your own engineer or mechanic. They’ll be the ones who need to see the damage and assess what’s actually under the skin. Just because it starts doesn’t mean the engine or gearbox are fine – that’s all we can say.
I’ve got a phone number for Shaun and Dave if you want to chat, and the office number is 0115 9300505 – call between 9am and 4pm if you’re local. Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the UK, though that’ll come extra.
The price is £10,795.50 – I’m not going to hide that, but it’s not what you’d pay for a new one. It’s a real deal if you’re looking at something with a bit of history and want to save money.
All vehicles here come from insurers, so they’re not personal cars – no private plates, no exact mileage, and the specs might not be 100% accurate. I’ve seen the pre-filled info on eBay and Gumtree, and it’s not always spot-on. So, double-check everything.
If you don’t collect it by the agreed date, I’m going to keep the deposit and resell it. No refunds on deposits – that’s a firm rule.
Payment-wise, I accept debit cards, bank transfers (preferred), cash at site or bank – just know there’s a 2% cash handling fee if you go that route.
I’m not trying to sell a car that’s ready to go on the road. This one’s not. It’s a salvage car, and it’s been through a claim. If you want to take it, you’ll need to fix it up yourself and get it back to roadworthy status.
If you’re serious about it, just pop by and take a look. I’m happy to show you what’s there. No pressure, just facts.
And yeah – I’ve had a few of these over the years, so I know what to watch for. But again – don’t trust the pictures or the description alone. You’ve gotta see it.
