Mercedes E300 De-Plugin Hybrid Executive
Description
So I’ve been keeping this car for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s a PCO-ready Mercedes E300 de-Plugin hybrid executive in nautic blue metallic – not flashy, but definitely stands out. I’ve actually got it in my garage in Harpenden, Hatching Green, so if you're around, no issue popping by.It’s not just the base model – there’s a bunch of extras I’ve kept in, mostly from previous owners who clearly cared about the driving experience. Things like leather seats, a DAB radio with MBUX, smartphone integration, USB ports all over (two in the centre console, two in the back), and even a charging socket. The car’s got a full suite of tech: blind spot assist, brake wear warning, cruise control, and a few driving modes (comfort, eco, sport, sport plus) – you can switch between them depending on how you want to drive.
There’s also a touchpad with parking assist, 180-degree reversing camera, and the parking package. I’ve got the trip computer showing fuel consumption, tyre pressure monitoring, and even outside temperature on the dash. The wheels are 18-inch AMG-style, painted in tantalite grey with a high sheen, and the front and rear are styled with polished aluminium and chrome details – the grille, side panels, and aprons all get that AMG touch.
The car has electric windows with one-touch open/close and obstruction sensors. LED headlamps with daytime running lights, LED rear lights, and a nice agility control suspension with 15mm lowering. I’ve got both the 8m mode 2 charging cable (for home sockets) and a 4m mode 3 cable for wallboxes or public chargers.
It’s all been set up and ready to go – no major issues, just a clean, well-maintained car with all the smart features. I’ve kept it in good shape, and it runs smoothly. I’m not selling it for a lot – just £9 – because it’s more of a long-term keeper than a quick flip. If you're into hybrids and want a car that’s both practical and tech-savvy, it’s definitely worth a look.
Let me know if you’d like to see it or chat about it – happy to show it off.
