Description
Got this Powabyke electric trike and decided to part with it. It’s been three and a half years since I bought it new for £1995 — now selling it for about £1000 over.It’s a solid 250w brushless motor with a 36v 14amp lithium battery, 20-inch wheels, and a twist throttle. Top speed is 15mph, range is around 35–45 miles on a charge, and it takes about 5 hours to fully charge. The step-over height is 6 inches, so it’s a bit easier to get on than a regular bike — fits people between 4’10” and 5’7” pretty well.
The rear basket is big enough for shopping, work gear, or even a small dog if you’re into that. Comes with the front basket, charger, and a tool box.
I’m based in Lybster, Highland, so buyer has to collect it — I’d need a van to move it, so no delivery.
It’s been a real life-saver for my commute and weekend trips — still runs smooth and feels like it’s been well looked after. Just not the right fit for me anymore, so hoping someone else will find it useful.
