So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2019 Golf 1.5 TSI EVO 150 GT with the automatic gearbox, and I’ve actually only driven it once, so it’s been really well looked after. It’s a low-mileage, high-spec model with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that’s ULEZ compliant, which means no issues in London or anywhere else with the new emissions zones.

It’s finished in blue metallic, and the interior is suede — nice, soft feel, and the seats are heated. I’ve used it quite a bit for weekend drives and short trips, and it’s been super reliable. The touch screen is a newer wide-screen system with satellite navigation, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay, and you can mirror your phone apps like Spotify and Google Maps directly onto the screen — super handy. Bluetooth, media connections, and auto air conditioning are all there too.

It’s got a full suite of safety features — ABS with HBA, ESC with traction control, adaptive cruise, front assist, parking sensors, and even a driver alert system. The alloy wheels are 17-inch Dijon ones, and there’s a lot of little touches: chrome trim on the air intake, body-coloured bumpers and mirrors, electric windows, heated seats, and even a load-through provision.

I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s only done 24,950 miles. It’s the only owner, and I’ve kept it clean and well-maintained. There’s a 12V socket in the boot, cup holders, a glovebox with cooling, and even child seat mounts in the back.
