Got this SEAT Arona SE in silver – first registered in September 2018, so it’s been around a few years but still runs smooth. It’s a solid 5-seater SUV with a good boot (400 litres) and plenty of room for gear or weekend trips. The 1.0-litre petrol engine gets 51.4 mpg combined, which is pretty efficient for a small SUV, and it’ll hit 107mph if you want to get somewhere fast.

It’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues driving around city centres. The bi-colour roof and elevated driving position make it stand out a bit, and the interior has some nice touches – like cruise control, Bluetooth, and split-folding rear seats. There’s also a double boot floor, which helps keep the back seats tidy when you’re not using them.

I’ve been using it for daily commutes and weekend drives – it’s reliable, easy to handle, and doesn’t eat through the tank. It’s not flashy, but it does what it needs to do well.
