2006 Swift Challenger 490

So, I’ve had this 2006 Swift Challenger 490 for a few years now, and it’s been a real joy to use — especially when I’m out in the countryside near Omagh, Fermanagh and Omagh District. It’s not flashy, but it’s been well looked after and runs really smoothly.

It’s got a motor mover, so you don’t need to push it — super handy for getting around. The awning’s full size and works fine, and there’s a full cooker setup with oven, grill, and hobs, plus a built-in microwave. I’ve got a Truma heating system, fridge, and a small freezer — all of which work great. There’s also an Ariel for TV, which is a nice touch if you’re watching a bit of film or a show.

The bathroom area has a toilet, sink, and shower — and I’ve got an aqua roll and all the hook-up cables included. The floors are fitted with both wood and carpet mats, which keeps it feeling nice and comfortable. There’s a BBQ spot outside too, and plenty of storage space.

Inside, there’s two singles at the front — can be set up as a double if needed — and a double bed at the back, or can be split into two smaller singles for kids. I’ve actually used it for family trips, so it’s been practical.

The front window is a bit damaged and doesn’t let in water — no worries, it’s not a big deal. I’ve checked the whole thing thoroughly, and there’s no damp or rot anywhere. If you’re thinking of checking it out, I’d be happy to show it over.
