These Rookie Classic 78 quad roller skates are a solid pair I’ve had for years and still use them regularly. They’re got that classic retro look with the embossed 78 logo on the boot and tongue — not flashy, just clean and stylish. The fleece lining is actually pretty good, especially for long sessions, and the tongue is breathable, so they don’t get too sweaty.

The skates are built with nylon chassis and trucks, which means they’re sturdy and don’t wobble — I’ve taken them on long walks around the local park and even a bit of rougher terrain without any issues. The wheels are 58mm x 32mm polyurethane 82A — smooth ride whether you’re indoors or out, and I’m happy to say they’re vegan-friendly too.

Max weight is 60kg under UK5, 100kg over — so they’re not meant for super heavy riders, but they’ll handle most people comfortably.
