Description
Got this old Daiwa Millionaire 6B multiplier reel from the 1970s — it’s a first edition, I think, and’s been in my garage for years. It’s fully working, still runs fine, and I’ve had it serviced. The level wind cog was replaced with an Abu copy, but the original one is still in the box with it. The plastic case is a bit cracked on the top, but otherwise it’s held up well over 50 years. Original bag and a small pot of shims and blocks are still in there. I’ve kept it in good condition, mostly just stored it, but it’s actually still good to use out in the water. It’s a real collector’s piece, but I wouldn’t mind fishing with it if needed. Cash only, collection in Meltham, Kirklees. £27 — I’m just passing it on. No haggling, just a straightforward handover.
