So I’ve had this Renault Scenic for a few years now, and it’s been a real workhorse for my family. It’s a 2010 1.5 diesel with a manual gearbox and a handy detachable towbar – perfect if you ever need to tow something. The ride’s smooth, the visibility’s good, and the interior’s actually quite spacious, especially with the removable seats. I’ve had it serviced recently at the original dealer, and it’s got a fresh MOT. The timing chain was replaced at 55k miles, and I’ve had a new battery fitted. Front brakes were renewed at 70k miles, so it’s all in good shape. Service records are right there if you want to check. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and gets over 50mpg on long trips. I’ve just moved to Mablethorpe, Mablethorpe and Sutton, so I’m downsizing a bit and thought I’d part with it. It’s been a solid companion for all sorts of family trips and moving stuff – just what you’d want for practicality.
