I’ve been running a small car hire business out of Newhaven-East Sussex, Transit Road, and I’m now letting go of my fleet — mostly electric and hybrid models, with a mix of Teslas, BMWs, Mercedes, and a few newer ones too.

I’ve been using these cars for Uber, Bolt, and private hires, and they’ve been running smooth with no major issues. I’ve got a solid mix of vehicles — from compact EVs like the MG5 and Hyundai Ioniq, to full-sized models like the Tesla Model X and Mercedes EQS.

I’ve had a few customers book airport jobs in advance — pre-booking 1–3 days ahead is possible, and it’s a handy way to earn extra income. I’ve also added EV assistance, which cuts weekly costs by £75 for 40 weeks — that’s a real saving.
