2013 BMW 1 Series 116d ES 3dr Diesel Hatchback
Description
So I’ve had this 2013 BMW 1 Series 116d ES for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been one of my most reliable cars. It’s a 3-door hatchback with a 2.0-litre diesel engine — not flashy, but it gets you where you need to go without burning too much fuel. I did a full service in August 2025, so it’s been properly looked after and runs smoothly. It’s got the ES trim, which means electric windows on the front doors and manual air conditioning — not the fanciest, but it’s enough for everyday driving. I’ve got Bluetooth with hands-free calling and voice control, which is nice when you’re on the go. The USB port is still working too, so I can plug in my phone or a tablet if I need to.
One thing I love is the boot space — it’s surprisingly roomy, especially for a hatchback. And it’s in a low insurance group (14E), so the cost of insurance isn’t a big worry.
It’s been through a full 12-month MOT until August 13, 2026, and comes with a 3-month warranty just in case. I’ve been using it regularly, and it’s never had any major issues.
It’s currently parked at Kirknewton, Station Road — just a quick drive from the village if you’re local. I’m not selling it just to get rid of it — I’m actually looking for someone who’d appreciate it and maybe even take it on a long weekend trip.
Price is £3,059.10 — not a huge amount for a well-maintained diesel hatchback, especially with such a low tax and insurance rating. If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or show it around.
